Dr. Garris

Dr. Genevieve Garris was born in Naples, FL, and with a Merit and Medallion Scholar’s Award Scholarship, attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate education. She graduated earning the distinction of Cum Laud Honors for a Bachelors of Science with a Major in Chemistry and Dean’s List Award for Chemistry. Following graduation, Genevieve was accepted into the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.

While at Tufts, Dr. Garris expanded her clinical growth by participating in didactic, clinical case research for specialty clinics in the school using integrated curriculum with Dental, Medical and Biomedical students. In addition, Dr. Garris expanded on her patented concept of the PHAN (Ploy Hybrid Airborn Neutalizer), sponsored by the Lemelson-MIT National Grant, and integrated the technology for application to third world country medical centers.

Upon graduation, Dr. Garris earned the distinction of the Clinical Excellence Award in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and graduated with honors. Genevieve practices with a philosophy that to be a dentist not only means to be a knowledgeable, skilled clinician but also a compassionate caregiver, and places highest value on being a health advocate for her patients. Dr. Garris is an experienced provider focused on all aspects of restorative dentistry including oral surgery and dental implants and takes pride in caring for her patients at the highest clinical standard.

Since graduation, Genevieve has become a member of several dental professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She also teaches Clinical Dentistry to dental students at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. As a life-long learner herself, Dr. Garris also completes added continuing education per year and participates in several study groups, additional clinical and academic training through Spear and Dawson and Study Group Seminars.

Outside of the office, Genevieve enjoys spending time with her family and friends. As a self-proclaimed “foodie” she loves cooking and traveling to try new things, especially to eat! When at home, Genevieve enjoys working in the garage on her hobby of cars.

I can't say enough about Orange blossom dental. From the front desk staff, to the assistance and hygienist and of course Dr. Genevieve garris. My first visit to the office was actually pleasant. I'd recommend orange blossom dental to anyone. they are pleasant and I had no pain.

I had my first appointment at Orange Blossom Dental yesterday, I can't be more satisfied with the Staff, The facility, The equipment, and Doctor Garris who was wonderful, professional amd extremely capable. Denise, my hygienist, was very thorough and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr Garris did a complete exam and spent time with me explaining and showing me things that could be improved. I'm so happy that I found orange blossom as my new dental office.

I have just had my lower partial dentures fitted, my upper's where fitted end of last year. I have to say the whole process has just been amazing. My wife and I have been using Orange Blossom Dental for over a year, I can't say how amazing and professional the folks are. Dr Garris went through in great detail my various option regarding replacing my missing teeth, laying out the detailed cost of each option as well as the Pro's and Con's of each option. There was never any pressure in any way, Dr Garris as I said, detail my options and we came up with a plan of action. I can't say how pleased I am with the outcome, it has been years since I had a full set of teeth, so very happy, great Job DR Garris and all your amazing staff.

Sometimes you move to a new area and are lucky to find an amazing dentist on the first go around. Dr. Garris is extremely competent and possesses a stress-reducing manner, the office is relaxing, and the dental assistants and staff are solid. My only hesitation in recommending this practice is that spreading the word might make it harder for me to get an appointment.A bonus of this location is the Dolce Amar cafe close by (a great spot to relax if you have someone waiting for you during a procedure).

I just started going to Orange Blossom Dental and have had a few appointments with Dr. Garris and her team. All of my experiences have been excellent, the entire staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Any questions I've had have been answered thoroughly and we came up with a well thought out treatment plan going forward. This is the best experience I have ever had at a dental office. You couldn't dream a better experience. The office itself is so beautiful and calming, the staff is smiling and lovely and the Dr. is so kind and gentle, while being very skilled. This is a wonderful facility. New, colorful, with a floor plan that's open, in concept enough to have open visibility to the whole operation. From supply areas to examination & treatment rooms to administration to the front lobby. Very friendly staff, and my hygienists did a fabulous job. 👍
