Your journey to a healthier, brighter smile starts here. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your first visit is as comfortable and informative as possible. Here's what you can expect during your new patient experience:
Step 1: Registering You As A Patient & Check-In
Before your appointment, we’ll contact you to complete any necessary patient forms, including a Records Release Form, so we can request radiographs from your previous dental provider. We’ll also review your dental insurance ahead of time to prepare a pretreatment estimate, helping you understand any potential co-payment.
To make your visit as smooth as possible, we encourage you to complete your patient intake forms online and submit any radiographs in advance. Please arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment.
What to Bring:
- Completed patient forms (if not submitted online)
- Radiographs from your previous dental practice (if not already sent)
- Insurance card (if applicable)
- A list of any questions or concerns you’d like to discuss
Step 2: Personalized Consultation & Comprehensive Dental Exam
Once checked in, you'll meet one of our caring dental professionals for an initial discussion. We take the time to listen to your dental history, current concerns, and long-term goals. This helps us create a treatment plan tailored just for you.
Your thorough dental examination includes:
- Full-Mouth Radiographs to gain a complete view of your dental health
- Gum health assessment to detect any early signs of periodontal issues
- Tooth-by-tooth examination to check for decay, cracks, or other issues
- Oral Cancer Screening as part of our preventive approach.
Step 3: Professional Cleaning (as needed)
Our dental hygienist will determine what particular cleaning you need and is best suited for your mouth. This sets the stage for a healthy mouth and a brighter smile.
Step 4: Treatment Plan Discussion
After your exam, we’ll discuss our findings with you in detail. We believe in transparent and open communication, so feel free to ask questions or share any concerns. Your treatment plan is developed with your comfort, budget, and oral health goals in mind.
Step 5: Scheduling and Next Steps
We’ll assist you in scheduling your next appointment or any follow-up treatments. Our team will also provide an itemized dental treatment plan you can go home with. Along with tips and guidance on maintaining your dental health.
